The Challenge
Human Resources are key assets to all successful business operations. With ongoing requirements for staff to perform at an optimal level to meet their deliverables, careful consideration needs to be applied to occupational health practises and the programs delivered to reduce Lost Time Injury (LTI), Medical Treatment Incident (MTI) and WorkCover (WC) claims. Research indicates Lost Time Injuries has an estimated cost of over $60 billion dollars on the Australian economy*, with significant implications on a business’ financial position, including ramifications on insurance profiles, premiums and risk rating, all of which have prolonged impacts for up to 3 years. Resources, management, medical expenses and redirection of the workforce is often required to fill voids, resulting in significant expenses for the business affecting the bottom dollar.

Utilising our elite specialist occupational clinicians and preferred clinic network
Our Health Practitioners
Our elite occupational specialists have extensive knowledge of treatments and services, workplace policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. Our physiotherapists are responsible for the management and conditioning of staff to avoid Loss Time Injuries, Medical Treatment Incidents and WorkCover claims.
Our presence onsite ensures the number of WorkCover claims being lodged is reduced by delivering customised treatment of reactive injuries not impacting the Early Intervention Physiotherapy (EIP) framework set by Worksafe. This is achieved by Strategic Health clinicians who are specially qualified to deliver services without impacting the traditional reporting of WorkCover claims after 5 visits. This provides improved management controls for clients to reduce Lost Time Injuries costs, absenteeism costs, insurance premiums and insurance ratings.
If injuries do require external intervention, our handpicked network of preferred health clinics can be utilised. They understand our work practises and objectives and have a focus of treating employees efficiently and effectively to return to work as quickly as possible with a long-lasting solution.
Data analytics
Supporting the seamless execution of our occupational health programs is our innovative data analytics infrastructure. By measuring and quantifying what we observe on an individual or a site level, allows us to track the progress and effectiveness of each person, task and program and guides us to continually pivot to improve your operations. It also allows your business to monitor the trends and progress of your employees.
Detailed documentation and communication
By documenting all aspects of our occupational health programs, this allows us to provide the most accurate services for each employee and allows you to continually assess their status and deliver the required support.
Non-medical / health related stakeholders are given de-identified information to improve operational KPIs in real time.
Health related stakeholders are given information to facilitate improvement of health related KPIs and competency in real time.
